The dumpster arrived late this afternoon. Be a part of DUMPSTER
AID! This week will require the transfer of lots of
old building debris to a large dumpster. WE NEED
HELP. The building debris and trash needs to be
loaded onto the dumpster. We need volunteers every
day this week. If you can help - any day for
however much time you can - call Marilyn at
978-462-7973. Saturday will be a Dumpster Marathon
to complete every last bit of the loading before the
dumpster is picked up. By helping you can take heart
in knowing that you have contributed to a better future
for the greyhounds. And BYOWG - bring your own work
gloves! A big "roo" from the hounds.

11/20/11: Weekend Update. The chilly weather
of Saturday was tempered on Sunday by sun and spring like
temperatures. Much progress was made in framing the
kennel suite areas. GAS volunteers helped Marilyn
bag and remove trash, old records, outdated forms, worn
blankets and towels from the inside of the kennel
building. The roofing is scheduled for next week.

building materials was brought from the store. Tree
cutting, dumpster filling, and preparations for the new
kennel suite foundations continued. The correct
building materials will arrive tomorrow.

like fun driving that bobcat!
11/15/11: Yesterday and today were consumed with the
filling of dumpsters, hauling away the debris, the
delivery of building materials, and other preparatory
work. JB and Drew from Project Pawsitive, Project
Pawsitive volunteer Scott Stone and GAS volunteer David
Ferragamo worked on setting up for the framing.
Volunteer Jerry Ferragamo will continue with debris
removal. The framing will take place tomorrow through
Friday. Both the siding and roofing are scheduled
for next week. Check back for more photos. These are
from today.
Phase 2, the renovation of
the interior of the kennel, will begin immediately after
the exterior is completed - that is, if we have the funds
to continue. Please open your hearts and your
wallets, and donate to this once in a lifetime
opportunity for GAS. We
need your help NOW! To learn more about helping, click on
