Greyhound Adoption Service is not a boarding
Greyhound Adoption Service does not put dogs on hold for future adoption. Once a dog is adopted, the adopter must take their dog home within one week.
Greyhound Adoption Service requires all potential adopters to come to the kennel to meet and select their dogs. This is the best way to increase the likelihood of a successful adoption. Help is available from Greyhound Adoption Service in locating overnight accommodations for adopters coming from out of state.
The adoption fee of $350 is non-refundable.
All adopters must sign an application form and contract before adoption. The adopter's signature on the contract indicates a legal agreement with all items specified on the form.
No greyhound is released from the kennel unless the dog is neutered or spayed.
No dog with injuries will be released from the kennel until veterinary treatment is complete.
Greyhound Adoption Service does its best to assess but cannot guarantee the ability of the greyhounds to live with cats, small dogs and other pets. For more information read about greyhounds and other pets.
