Spot is a 8 year old male.  He is a tiny, handsome white and brindle boy.  No cats, please.  Spot is a special needs dog. He has three toes that have been amputated due to a racing injury.
He recently had surgery to correct a bicep problem and is healing well.  He needs a home with a fenced in yard, nice and grassy.  Besides being extremely handsome, Spot is an outgoing, friendly fellow - full of personality.  He can get excited easily and would do best as an "only dog" in a quiet household with no youngsters to over-stimulate him.

Spot has been in foster care since December 2009.  He is doing greyt!  Below is additional information from a recent update by his foster mom:

"We have been fostering Spot since the day after Christmas. Spot is an amazing dog.  After the initial meeting, he accepted the resident greyhounds without incident. He was very excited to see familiar faces and was more than happy to follow their lead.  He particularly likes my male greyhound as they are the same age.  He is also a picky eater, who seems to prefer ProPlan Shredded Lamb to anything else we've tried.  Spot is sweet, quiet and loving.  We are unable to keep him because he is not cat safe.  After his surgery for bicep tendonitis, he has been crated to limit his movement.  He is healing up nicely.  I have started giving him slow, short, daily walks to build up his strength.  He is a DREAM on lead.  He knows to sit on command, will come, stay and bow."
